The Immortals of Meluha

The having good reviews i was not impressed by the book..The language was simple but at some places it was to trendy that it takes of the mood of readng a myhtological fiction. It seems more like a Bollywood Hit Film plot. The one thing i was impressed was the description of war at the end. Though this is only the first part of the Triology i am not intimidated to read the second part the Secret of nagas it is being rated as the best seller!!!!!. May be some reviews might help.

Great book, Loved reading it, Since i have already read 7 secrets od shiva and vishnu i was quick to finish it. All three books are worth reading. Looking forward to read more books of Devdutt Patnaik..

The Book Of Ram By Devdutt Patnaik

The Book Is very Small in size to even contain the entire Ramayan But Devudutt Has Managed to Pull up and present the facts incoprated with the episodes of Ram's Life and invoke the intelectual side of our brain.. The beginning of the the book covers entire Ramayana in one go...But then there are episodes throughout the book Along with many unknown Charecters described, that captivates our mind... There were many questions about the behaviour of Ram with Sita which has always intrigued me..This being the sole reason for me to read this book..All these questions has been answered by Mr Patnaik.. The Last Pages of the Book has to be read by us again and again and has to be stored in our mind so that we know the real purpose of Ram when we read,hear or view anything about LORD RAM

The Incredible Banker By Ravi Subramanium

Reallyyyyyyyy good book, i love Ravi Subramanium as a writer. His style of writing is engaging that you can't sleep until you have finished the book, Infact you think about the entire book for fe whours even after finishing the book.
I had this experience with If god was a banker and now again with 'The incredible banker'.Even after completing the book i wanted more to read..
There were some chapters which were put inside the plot which i felt was slowing down the pace of the book..but that was required....because after finishing the book we can weave all the events together it is totally perfect.
Moreover i like the way Ravi has given importance to ethics in the Plot i liked this trait in his first book too as well as i this book too.
Ravi's language is simple yet sophisticated its not foul and its completely clean...there was only one event in the book where a foul language was used but i guess that was required.

Ravi is one of the best writers India has. I absolutly love his work...
